The welcome post

Hello everyone,

As a guildmaster, but above all a member of Censura Divinus, and on behalf of my fellow officers Ordrosh and Craggy, I would like to welcome you to these forums. I want to start by saying that this post is meant as a first stop and place to meet and see some of the people in our guild, whether or not you are already a member or just a visitor.

First things first, Censura Divinus has been founded on the 25th of February, 2005 by Presea on the Bloodhoof server. Today, it is sporting well over 100 characters and nearing 50 accounts. It has steadily grown, both figuratively and literally, with the mandatory ups and downs, to the guild we are today. From the start we have said that the members are what makes the guild and that is why our goal is not to be the top raiding guild there is, but rather be a friendly environment where the players can decide at what pace and how the challenges of World of Warcraft are met and overcome. Sure, we raid, kill, farm, grind, play pvp and sometimes lack sleep because of the game, but it is all because we can and never must. We all know our classes and talents, but it is the person behind the pixels we are interested in. Maybe this is why Censura Divinus has a mix of players, young and mature, male and female, casual and active. People with all sorts of interests, background stories and personalities. I firmly belief it should not be any different and am very glad we have turned out the way we did. Never a dull moment...

After reading through this and maybe all the other posts, and you think to yourself: "Gee wiz, but is it possible to get into this guild of yours!", fret not! You already registered (please use your ingame name if you can) so you can head on over to this forum and write down an application (be sure to read the sticky there). We are always looking for people that do not mind to help, are fun, colorful and possess all those other characteristics you can look for in people as a guild. One of the things we would like you to do after you have registered, is to read our rules. Very boring, I know, but it is just one of those things that has to be done. Please respect them while you are here and ingame, and thanks for taking the time. Lastly, be sure to regularly check the announcements for those important bits of information regarding the guild and game one should not miss. We will generally add things we post here to the message of the day ingame as well.

And as for this post, I would very much like everyone to add something, say hi or maybe even tell a bit about yourself if you are willing. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy your stay, and once again, welcome to our forums!
