Who and what are we? It's quite simple. Censura Divinus is one of the oldest guilds on the Bloodhoof server. It consists of nutty but oh so lovable personalities, all kinds of nationalities and people with very different play styles. In short, a mix of everything. Not a raid guild, not very casual, but just right. With the coming of Wrath of the Lich King we will of course be leveling to 80 and later on moving into the raid dungeons in Northrend, going in on wednesday, friday and monday. But, that does not mean there is no time for other cool stuff, like events or PvP and let's not forget instances (normal and heroic). We try to help each other in all our activities, be it questing, grinding, your professions or just that piece of advice you need for your build or how to tackle something challenging in the game.

On this front page we will keep you all updated on events, achievements and other information worth mentioning. We, the officer team (Craggy, Rakkdor, Sorayan and myself), will post here when we can, but suggestions (and pictures) are more than welcome. We hope you'll read and use this website and forum as often as possible and find the time to post about yourself and in all the other interesting topics. For those that never visited the site before, and are here to apply for our guild, be sure to register or just go here and read the welcome post for some information on the guild and instructions for joining.

Well, well, well.

It has been 5 years already since our little guild was founded. I think Orehjin was the first to sign the Charter back then, with me being the second to sign. If I am not mistaken it all took place in the Crossroads, 2 weeks after the servers came online.
I am not sure if we still have some members besides Orehjin and myself that signed the Charter but I highly doubt it. I still remember walking through Thunderbluff with our first Guildmaster, looking for a couple of signatures for the charter.
I think i was somewhere in Thousand Needles when we finally got the last signature and were made a proper guild.
The name is latin for divine justice, although i think our googlefu was rather weak back then, as sometime during TBC, i think, one applicant did mention that there were a spelling error in the name. But the name stuck with us and we kept it.
During the last 5 years members came and members left and a few even came back to us again, over all we kept growing for most of the time up to the about 80 accounts and 225 characters we have right now.
Our first regular activities started late during Classic with a few dungeon runs during the weekends mostly during the evening hours, and even managed to do Upper Blackrock Spire as a guild once or twice. During Burning Crusade we took our first steps into the world of raids with Karazhan and later even Zul'Aman being 10 player raids. It however took us quite some time to get the amount of members and proper equipment for them to be able to successfully enter the place. Our first trip there on Nov. 30th 2007 was rather successfull for a first trip. Although it took us nearly a year to get there I think it was time well used. For the first full clear it didn't take 3 month, the last 2 Bosses Prince Malchezaar and Nightbane fell before us 7 days before our 3rd anniversary on Feb. 18th 2008. Zul'Aman took us considerably longer to complete as it was a decent step up in dificulty from Karazhan. Our first steps into the troll area we made in April 2008, but untll mid June we didn't visit the place regularly... Zul'Jin the last boss was defeated Oct. 11th 2008 just before the 3.0 patch, I even think it even was the night before 3.0 hit the servers... Untill Wrath of the Lichking fully hit the servers we even managed to do the full timed run, sadly a little too late for us to get a Bear or 2 but it was a great achievement nonetheless. You can still read Orehjin's articles from back then by going back to the last few pages in the portal.
After a brief 2 month break in terms of official raiding at the start of Wrath we 'officially' entered Naxxramas mid January 2009, a good few of us formed an ahead group that went about scouting the place out earlier in January. The first full clear we did what a coincidence near our 4th anniversary on Feb. 23rd... Along the road we also took down Archavon and Sartharion. We kept Naxx on schedule till around October last year, doing Ulduar and some Dragon hunting alongside with it. Our first kill in Ulduar we had on April 27th, and sadly till this day there are still 2 bosses in there that arent defeated... Due to that we entered Totc only in November last year, and defeated it shortly there after in mid December. Just before Christmas we defeated Our first boss in the last raid of the expansion, and about a month ago we hit Lady Deathwhisper, the Gunship Battle and Saurfang the Younger and defeated them for the first time.

Well enough with the look back on our past achievements, time for a little look into what the future might bring:
  • I really hope that we get ourselves in kill mode again and finally finish Ulduar soon, so that it can finally be put to rest.
  • Our first tries on TotGC showed that we should be able to do it, I hope we can build on that foundation and manage to defeat that.
  • We already had some really really good attempts in the first part of Icecrown Citadel, and I think we should really be able to atleast defeat the first 4 bosses on a regular basis.
So much for what I hope for us to achieve in the closer future. For the Guild I hope for us to be able to do more than just Raids together, as Craggy already pointed out in the Countdown topic, Guildactivity really dropped a bit as of lately, I really hope that we can get past this phase soon.

In closing I'd like to thank all our members both current and past for their time spent with us, even if it wasn't easy sometimes I hope you enjoyed / are enjoying your stay with us.
We, the officers, are always trying to have an open ear for the needs of our members, and we are aiming for a climate of mutual cooperation and success. So if there is something that bothers you, know that you can always poke one of us, and we might be able to work it out for the best of the guild.

It is nice to see we can post so much news on the frontpage. Yesternight we made a mess though. Perhaps it was because of the storm, maybe because it was cold or even because we destroyed an Alliance ship again, but somehow we killed Deathbringer Saurfang in the process. Oh wait... that is a good thing!

Yes yes, we have now successfully stormed the Citadel. First four bosses down, but on the other hand eight more meanies to go in there. The Saurfang fight (in my view) is the most challenging one so far and takes teamwork to pull off. It stresses the healers, while the tanks and DPS crew need to be on their toes at all times. But we got him. To boot, an achievement was earned for the hard work.

And before I forget, we even quickly did a complete Trial of the Crusader before going to Icecrown. My compliments to everyone. If you like to leave a comment about the raid, just go see this post on the forum and start typing. There is always something that can be improved, which can be discussed there, but hearing and reading people had fun and are excited about the boss kill(s) is just as good. Looking forward to what else lies in store for us in this chilly environment. Festergut is waiting...

Last night, after the Trial of the Crusader we went to Icecrown Citadel again, to continue where we left off on Wednesday. After about an hour of heated battle we had the gunship battle down to what is needed to do and finally defeated the Alliance ship, only to have Craggy stranded over there. We then took a look at the next boss in the fray, Deathbringer Saurfang, the remains of what once was a strong soldier of the horde and the son of our Overlord Saurfang. Due to the time it took to go over the tactics we sadly only had time for one attempt to take a look at him, we fought him for about 8 mins before we were defeated. So far it seemed a fun fight... I am looking forward to attempt him again and defeat him in the coming weeks, I hope so are you.

Last night we took the second step towards the ultimate goal of taking out the mastermind of the Scourge. With the defeat of Lady Deathwhisper, a powerful lich in the service of the Scourge, the first step on the way to the upper reaches of the Citadel has been opened. The fight itself took quite a toll on us though, I hope we can still nick some upgrades from Fridays visit in the Crusaders Coliseum, and afterwards maybe tackle the Gunship Battle which we already tried last night. The battle is a fun encounter and totally different from what we did so far, in terms of bosses. I hope you all enjoyed your evening with in that cold dark place.

See you next time :D
